What to expect
Whether you are looking for a set of light and bright Christmas images with plenty of festive fun and frivolity, a traditional Christmas scene with your child at the heart of it, that brings your own vintage Christmas card to life, or a combination of the sessions on offer, we will create unforgettable memories for your children that will last a lifetime.

Three edited digital images (via download)
A Christmas gift for your child(ren) chosen just for them
A Christmas biscuit for each child from Mason’s Bakes
A password-protected online gallery to view and order your images
A dedicated WhatsApp number to discuss styling prior to the session
THINGS TO KNOW
A deposit of £45 is required to confirm your session, the remainder will be payable 4 weeks before your session and will be requested via invoice over email.
Session fee is for up to two children. Siblings can be added for £10 per child (this will be added to your remainder invoice). If you have 4 children or more I recommend booking two sessions consecutively to allow sufficient time.
If you would like cousins/friends to have images together, please ensure you book two consecutive sessions.
After your session
Within 1 week of your session, you will receive a link to a password protected online gallery of the session to choose your 3 included images and purchase additional images, prints, festive gifts and artwork if you wish. Once you have chosen your images and ordered any additional images, and payment has been made, images will be added to the editing schedule to be sent to you 2-3 weeks later - the sooner you order the sooner you get your images back!
Additional digital images: £25 (reduced to £12.50 if you order within 3 days of receiving your gallery)

Saturday 15th November
Give your child(ren) the best ‘meet n greet’ with Santa possible with dedicated time just for them. No queues, no quick visit for a token photo, no meeting him alongside other people’s children…a personalised session where Santa will know your child(ren)’s names, check with them if they are on the nice list, read a Christmas book together, they can let Father Christmas know everything they would like to open on Christmas morning, receive a gift straight out of Santa’s sack and beautiful portraits of their time with the big man to treasure forever! Perfect for everything from one child up to full family portraits! Backdrop will be the same as The Night Before Christmas backdrop for 2025!
Christmas Tree Farm

Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th October
I’m so pleased that for the third year, Mama Bear Photography is going outdoors for Christmas. Nestled between the tall pine trees at Strawson Woodland near Louth you will find the most beautiful setting for your family portraits. I blogged all about these sessions as I just love them so much so please do have a more detailed read of what to expect here!
Guaranteed to make sure you are in the festive spirit nice and early with images perfect for Christmas cards and gifts. Saturday sessions are all about family time, walking around the Christmas trees, lots of snuggles on the sofa, mistletoe, ‘hot chocolate’ and marshmallows. Sunday sessions feature a very special guest, Santa will be ready and waiting on the sofa with his nice list and sack of presents to join your family in creating the most magical photos of all. Your child will have the chance to spend quality time with Father Christmas and have a gallery of the most festive images possible!
Sessions are taking place in October in the hopes there is just a light chill in the air, perfect for cosy jumpers and boots, pretty dresses with plenty of sparkle, scarves, hats, gilets, perhaps even elegant coats.
Milk & Cookies
£99 | 20 Minute Session
Saturday 1st, Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th & Sunday 16th November
A more relaxed and fun session where your child is encouraged to eat, drink and be very merry! Christmas pyjamas, and matching ones for siblings (and parents too) are a must to really make these images ones for the family album! Portraits will be more informal in nature as part of the relaxed nature of this session. Milk & cookies will be provided and make for some fantastic photos to treasure! If you have a child that isn’t yet eating/drinking we can do this session without those!
Winter Wilderness
£99 | 20 minute Session
Saturday 1st November
This set is perfect for the more active little ones. Whilst in the safety of The Cabin, they will pretend to ride in a sled across snow covered fields with the tall trees behind them whilst throwing snow at their siblings and even at me! This session will be full of fun and bright images and for the attire I recommend outdoor wear or jumpers with hats and scarves. This session is a great alternative for the families who desire light and airy images but without the pyjamas worn in the Milk & Cookies session!
Festive Favourites

Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th November
This set is PERFECT for those kids that really love something to do during their sessions, riding a sledge, throwing snowballs, eating marshmallows, posting letters to Santa...it's all there with this one! Similar to the outdoor vibes of Winter Wilderness but with the addition of gorgeous fairy lights and some added warmth with two beautiful lamp posts too this set has proven to be a real festive favourite already!
The Night Before Christmas
£99 | 20 minute session
Sunday 16th November
Dressed in traditional attire or festive pyjamas, this setup lovingly echoes vintage images of Christmas that make us feel all warm and fuzzy with some added Christmas magic. This session includes the classic fine-art style ‘Santa window image’, with a selection of classic portrait images of your child individually and with any siblings, and with the option for timeless family portraits too. Santa is not physically present at this session. The addition of the window scene adds even more variety to this session as children play under the moonlight as Santa flies past with his reindeer.
‘The Cabin At Christmas’ window image
£49 | 10 minute session
This is the perfect add-on to another studio session (£39) or as a stand alone mini session (£49) if you are wanting the perfect image for Christmas cards or as a gift for family this year. ‘The Cabin at Christmas’ has been created exclusively for Mama Bear Photography and features The Cabin set into the snowiest scene, surrounded by trees as Santa flies across the moon with his reindeer - festive perfection!
Also included is an animated film of snow falling from the sky behind the window to bring this image to life. An option with text can be created also to wish friends and family a Merry Christmas on social media or via email/WhatsApp.
Please note this mini session includes one image only and does not include a gift from Santa but your child(ren) will receive a festive Mason’s Bakes biscuit when booked as a standalone session! Not suitable for adults. Not available as an add-on to the Christmas Tree Farm or The Santa Experience.

If you simply can’t choose between the sessions available and wish to book more than one, let me thank you by gifting one EXTRA digital per session for any additional sessions booked. For example, if you book Winter Wilderness alongside a Milk & Cookies session you will receive TWO extra digitals for free! If you book another session alongside those two, you will receive another extra digital and so on!
