Purpose-Built Studio
The Mama Bear cabin was built in 2017 single-handedly by my husband - aka Papa Bear! It has been a real labour of love preparing it for our photography studio and is a place we always dreamed of working in together. To see all that become a reality is still very surreal and to welcome families here who appreciate the intake of homely relaxation you feel once you step through the wooden door, and have such kind words to say, is such a reward for all the hard work that has gone into the creation of the cabin.
Warm & Relaxing
I've always loved the idea of a Canadian-style woodland lodge; cosy and warm, filled with blankets and board games, with a fire roaring when it's cold and snowy outside and with doors and windows open when it is warm and sunny. This is the feeling I've tried to create with 'The Cabin', as it is now officially known.
In the picturesque village of Branston, just outside Lincoln, we are very lucky to have a good sized garden, a perfect setting for our intimate and cosy log cabin where you can feel comforted that your little ones will be photographed just a few feet away from where you will be sitting back on our cushion-filled sofa.
Relax and enjoy the garden view out of each window which changes month-to-month with the change in the weather, and seasons too, making each experience different to the last.
There may not be board games or a roaring fire (for safety reasons of course) but The Cabin is a secluded, serene place where you can just switch off and enjoy your photographic experience with a hot or cold drink, some snacks and dedicated WiFi (if you want it)!
